Whether you've lived in the valley your entire life, or are one of many that have moved here recently, we invite you to join us on the air waves! The beautiful valley of Emmett, located in Gem County, Idaho, is home to many active Amateur License holders - some really good people you'll want to get to know.

Idaho, of course, is home to many different kinds of people, from all walks of life. But, folks you will find on the air are typically those that value knowing they have a "Plan B" when it comes to staying in touch. We know if things ever get out of sorts over the hill, we may need to keep in contact with each other using less-common forms of communication. (We value it as much as we do other resources: food, water, etc.)

Prominently set at the feet of Squaw Butte, residents enjoy easy access from just about anywhere in the valley to several repeaters located high up on the mountain. One can easily reach out and touch others in the Greater Treasure Valley (Nampa, Caldwell, Meridian, Boise) area without leaving the comfort of their Ham Shack. It's also not uncommon to easily hit repeaters on nearby Shafer Butte, War Eagle Mountain and many others in Southwest Idaho.
